He Holds My World In His Hands!!

Wow February is almost over and I cant believe how much I have changed since the beginning of the year. I know God puts you through stuff to mold and make you what he wants you to be, but wow it can really change you, and your mindset about life. You start realizing whats important and what you need to work on.
I'm also realizing when you go through things you really find out who your friends are. They ask you how your doing or how your feeling. Thankful for everyone on here that has supported me from day 1. It really means a lot.

When I started blogging about this whole "P.C.O.S" I knew it was going to be out in the open. What I didn't realize was what a roller coaster of emotions I would have.  I'm definitely looking at life with a more positive outlook, but there are those days where I'm thinking " Ok Lord, I'm living day by day just trusting in you."  I keep thinking about that song "You Hold My World In Your Hands."

Verse 1:
Take my heart
Lord will you take my heart
As I surrender to Your will
I confess You are my righteousness
And until You move me I'll be still
And know that You are God.

Chorus:
You hold my world in Your hands
You hold my world in Your hands and
I am amazed at Your love
I am amazed that You love me
You hold my world in Your hands
You hold my world in Your hands and
I'm not afraid my world is safe
In Your Hands Oh
In Your hands
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/i/israel_houghton/you_hold_my_world.html ]
Verse 2:
Take my life
Lord will You take my life
You are the reason that I live
I believe You have forgiven me
And by Your grace I will forgive
And know that You are God
And know that You are God

Chorus:

You won't let go of me
You won't let go of me
You won't let go of me
You
Won't let go Never let go
You will take care of me
You will take care of me
You will take care of
Me
You will take care Always take care
You hold my world in Your hands
You hold my world
And you won't let go

Going through all of this I am reminded of two people everyday. I have a wonderful friend Diana Couvion who has been through this all already and has a wonderful testimony!  She is always encouraging me and it IS encouraging because through it all God blessed her with three beautiful babies. Two she had and one through adoption.  She lets me know If I ever need to talk she is there.

The second person I am reminded of when I'm praying is for my cousin Darlene. She is going through the same thing I am going through and it is a tough road. Please when you do pray for me keep her in your prayers also. I know God can heal the both of us!

"You Hold My World In Your Hands"

I will be giving an update soon about how this "lifestyle change" (hate the word DIET)  is going and an update of who I'm going to be spending most of my time with LoL!

  Have a good evening everyone!

Taco Ring

For everybody who asked on Facebook how to make that Taco Ring I made for the Youth Party,  here is the blog I promised.  This was super easy and is great for parties.

Here is all the ingredients you need.

2 cans of crescent rolls
1 lb ground beef
1/2 c. shredded cheddar
1 pack of Taco seasoning

Brown ground beef and drain. Put back in pan and mix with 2 tbs of water and seasoning. Mix in cheese. Take crescent rolls and separate them into triangles. Make a circle with crescent rolls with flat side inside and pointed side facing out. It will look like a wreath. Press the inside down to make it wider. Scoop beef mixture around the wreath. Fold points back toward the middle so that they wrap around the beef. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, salsa, and sour cream.

*Wasn't sure if It was going to look pretty lol*

YAY!!! It turned out and it was yummy! Should have took a picture of the pan after the kids dug into it.
We had a great party tonight and lots of fun! I'm worn out now so here are a few pictures from tonight. Goodnight everyone! Have great church tomorrow!

Beans and rice, Rice and beans!

If you have heard of Dave Ramsey before than you will know why I titled this with those words. Oh yes, the Hall household is on a budget!

Not that we haven't been on one before or that we spend all sorts of money. I consider myself to be very frugal. Actually have been teased plenty for it too =). I coupon, not that crazy fanatic, stuff but to get name brand deodorant for 50 cents or less is the norm around here. We cut Dan's hair and the dog so we won't have to pay for a barber. We don't have internet in our house right now. Just on our phones.  I LOVE spray paint and crafting which saves a lot with those "do it yourself " projects too. My parents have always taught us very good budgeting skills. When I was 12, I got my first nanny job and have been working ever since. I'm very thankful for Dan's parents teaching him very good working skills as well. We plan to pass that along when we have kids.

I wish I could say that I have always been on the right course and never made that mistake with a "credit card". All it took was once and thankfully not too much money. I definitely learned my lesson! Don't spend it if you don't have it!!

When Dan and I bought our first home, I was given the opportunity to work part time and we had discussed this very thoroughly. Also asking for my parents advice. We are very busy with church and youth and having that extra time we knew would help. We were still doing it all while I was working full time, but it did wear us both out! I knew this would have to be a leap of faith (especially with purchasing a new home) but I did feel that God had offered it.

Dan and I were also thinking about starting a family during this time. I had always heard from people that once you start living a certain way you just adjust to whatever it is and make it work. My thoughts were if we adjusted with a new house payment and working part time we would get used to living off that. Then when we had our baby I could work part time and not have to stress.

So your asking why Dave Ramsey now? Well we just want to be prepared.  Since I've started this new lifestyle change with P.C.O.S things are changing already. I just have this feeling that a baby is coming SOON!!! (because I'm actually working on the change!!) I want to be a MOM and stay home with my baby as much as I can. If that means giving up certain things and not living the glamorous life than so be it.
Remind me of that comment later my friends HA!!
I've had my fun and now I'm ready to settle down. Blogging about it helps and makes me stick to things because people are watching.  BUT if no one reads this, then it's just for myself.  =P

A Relaxing Getaway!

*La Conner*

What a wonderful getaway! A small quiet town with shops and restaurants on the water. Dan and I live very busy lives, so these little trips are a must sometimes. We had such a great time relaxing, shopping and eating! I did not want to come home. ;-)
